Day #15 > SATURDAY 7th NOVEMBER
A very quiet day. Weather gorgeous. Mum ok walking but she said she felt short of breath walking up the hill, but no need to stop. Bob is trying to be more talkative & attentive, but such a low starting point it’s barely noticeable . . .
I have noticed he’s deaf though, so suggested he get a hearing test. Wonder if he heard me?!
Truly, this is the first day I don’t really have anything to write. Boring day. Bob watched TV. Mum pottered in the garden once we found her secateurs as that’s officially ‘light duties’ which she’s allowed to do. Ah, yes, obviously I had to remove the 8ft long heavy spade & the cast iron wheelbarrow from her iron grip, but it’s hard to stop the sole pleasure she has in life eh . . .
I continue to put love above all – especially pointed in Bob’s direction, as although I don’t think he understands it in his head – which will annoy him! – it must be good for his heart. Surely it must?
Mum had a bad dream as I heard her scream during the night – but no mention of it by either of them to me. Mmmm.
