My first evening. Very quiet. Very nice.

Sunrise on morning 01. I'd struck gold. Sure, I'd rather be in Deweyland, but until I'm allowed to step foot into the US this will do nicely . . .

This first day sunrise was mesmerising - I wasn't expecting this at all . . .

. . . & it just kept getting better & better. Sunrise was around 5.50am, & with no neighbours I'd be living daylight hours so it was something I watched every morning. Just stunning . . .

My hosts had even popped over a moka percolator for me . . . 🙌

Yeah, if I have to be anywhere alone simply 'waiting', this will do just fine 😊

Sunrise was to the lefthand side, & this is to the righthand side a few metres away - although alas the bar is closed due to Covid, so all dry here. Quiet though 😉
