APRIL . . .
‘Hello Bob. Bob? Bob?!’
Ditto March really, a brave face is put on all but interestingly Bob now seems to have no issues with his back – & I quote, ‘it’s still dying but I’m not in any pain now,’ so he appears to be living his best life; I say ‘appears’ as I’ve not spoken to him apart from answering the phone/Alexa & saying ‘Hello Bob’ before he passes the handset straight to Mum. Zero. Not a single conversation. Just a grunt if he happens to be in the room. Amazing eh. Funny how real situations expose fake people . . .
Mum has an appointment with a brain doc right at the end of the month & is stressed about it, yet relying on it to answer her questions about her mental health. ‘Am I mad?’ seems to be her mantra this month & she’s relying on the doc to tell her straight, no matter what I, Jane or anyone else says to her to reassure her I suspect Bob has been reminding Mum of her failings & she believes she has a ‘problem’, rather than actually focussing on what she can do & living life.
Mum is definitely deteriorating.
